Dan Dykens has been added to ClearMomentum as the company’s new president and CEO. ClearMomentum provides private equity portfolio management software. Dykens is a Notre Dame graduate. Founder and former CEO John Grabski will serve as chairman of the board.
ROCHESTER, NY –– ClearMomentum, Inc., the industry-leading provider of private equity portfolio management software, is pleased to announce that Dan Dykens has been appointed as the company’s new President and CEO. With nearly two decades of experience in the financial technology and hedge fund industries, Dan replaces ClearMomentum founder and CEO John Grabski, who will continue to serve as the company’s chairman of the board.

Prior to ClearMomentum, Dan was the founder and President of Meet the Street LLC, a technology company which served as an online matching platform to electronically schedule meetings between institutional investors and corporate executives to economize the investment roadshow process (acquired by Instinet). Dan also spent four years as CEO of research management software provider Norbury Financial Systems. Earlier in his career, Dan spent a decade on the buy side as a trader, analyst and portfolio manager. Dan was the managing partner and co-founder of Boston-based long/short US equity hedge fund Clipper Capital Management, LLC. At Clipper, Dan produced risk-adjusted rates of return that were in the top decile across all hedge fund strategies and Dan was named as a rising hedge fund star by Institutional Investor. Dan was also named to the Boston Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” in 2007.
Dan holds a BBA degree with a concentration in finance from the University of Notre Dame.
