PE-backed 11i Solutions Buys Infinity Technology

Wireless infrastructure developer 11i Solutions Inc. has acquired Infinity Technology Inc. Both companies are based in Huntsville, Ala. Terms of the deal were not released. New York-based private equity firm Steel Pier Capital Advisors acted as both financial sponsor and strategic advisor during this transaction. 11i Solutions recently closed on a $1.8 million round of financing from Steel Pier Capital.

11i Solutions, Inc., a wireless infrastructure architect and solutions developer, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Infinity Technology, Inc. Both companies are headquartered in Huntsville, AL. The terms of the acquisition were not publicly disclosed. New York-based private equity firm Steel Pier Capital Advisors, LLC acted as both financial sponsor and strategic advisor during this transaction.

Infinity Technology is an award-winning software and engineering firm that specializes in quality assurance services for high-profile military, aerospace and next-generation spacecraft manufacturers. With a strong past performance record for government contracting, Infinity Technology will play a vital role in delivering the capabilities of 11i Solutions to government.

Throughout its history, Infinity Technology has provided leading-edge software and engineering solutions to Lockheed Martin and other prime government contractors. Among the aircraft where Infinity’s efforts have been included are the F-22, C-130, C-5, F-15 and the Apache Longbow. The company is currently working with NASA on the next-generation Orion spacecraft and has been invited to bring its avionics expertise to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
