Poll: Most Expect 2012 VC Fundraising to Match or Beat Last Year’s Total

The results are in for last week’s poll and they show that you’re optimistic about venture fundraising.

Despite a poor Q1, most of you expect fundraising to pick up this year. More than 60% of the 130 people who took the poll expect U.S. venture funds to be on par with last year ($18.2 billion) or higher (up to $31 billion). Less than 40% of those surveyed expect fundraising to be lower than last year – in the range of $13.8 billion to $16.4 billion.

Detailed results are in the chart below.
