Doug Lawson Jumps to Lazard Middle Market

Doug Lawson has joined Lazard Middle Market.

This week, Lawson started at Lazard where he is an MD focusing on the packaging and plastics sector.

He recently spent six years at BMO Capital Markets where, as an MD, he also specialized in packaging. He spent another six years at Piper Jaffray covering packaging. “It’s a sector with lots of private equity involvement and lots of transactions,” he says.

Lazard Middle Market is a unit of Lazard, the global investment bank. In 2007, Lazard Middle Market was formed when the IB acquired Goldsmith Agio Helm.
