Claremont Creek Ventures hires new associate

Claremont Creek Ventures, a seed and early-stage venture fund, has named Harveen Sethi as an associate. Prior to joining CCV, Sethi worked at Medtronic.


December 20, 2013 Claremont Creek Ventures (CCV), a seed and early stage venture fund today announced the appointment of Harveen Sethi as an Associate.
Harveen has more than a decade of experience in strategic marketing and innovation in medical devices and information technology. Most recently, she was a Senior Manager at Medtronic, where she held marketing leadership roles in divisions globally. At Medtronic, she brought new cardiac therapies to market, drove market development across Europe for cardiovascular therapies, and led strategic planning and product innovation for one of the highest growth divisions at Medtronic. Prior to that, Harveen was a Manager at Accenture where she led projects in building enterprise technology and analytics solutions, user experience design, and business model innovation for clients in the healthcare, energy, and telecommunications sectors.
As CCV Director Ted Driscoll, PhD. commented, “Harveen is passionate about impactful disruptive innovation, especially in shaping the next frontier of healthcare. She is particularly enthusiastic about the potential of big data analytics and technology in advancing predictive diagnostics and personalized medicine. These are sweet spots for CCV. Harveen is a strong advocate for promoting more female entrepreneurs and serves as an Ambassador for XX in Health in San Francisco. She is also an active member of non-profit Colorful Minds, which aims to empower children living with disabilities in India through creativity and entrepreneurship.
Harveen holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, where she served as a Fellow on the Frankel Fund, a pre-seed investment fund. She has a B.A from Rutgers University.
