Precision Health Media has hired Peter Fontana as a vice president of advertising sales and Richard O’Connor as its first chief financial officer. Also, the company has named Andy Chapman to its board of advisors. Previously, Fontanta worked at AMC Networks where he served as director of digital ad sales while O’Connor was co-founder and CFO of Prime Visibility Media Group. And most recently, Chapman served as a managing director at WPP’s media agency Mindshare NY. Based in New York, Precision Health Media is a provider of contextual advertising technology. Peter Fontana boasts more than 13 years of digital ad sales experience, most recently as Director-Digital Ad Sales at AMC Networks, including the AMC, IFC and WeTV channels. Previously, he held key digital ad sales positions at MTV Networks & TV Guide. In these positions, Peter worked closely with leading CPG, OTC and pharma brands including Johnson & Johnson, SC Johnson, Bayer, Procter & Gamble, Unilever and Kraft.
Richard O’Connor was previously Co-Founder and CFO of Prime Visibility Media Group, leading the online performance advertising network and digital agency to a $36 million acquisition by Blinkx. He was previously a principal at Nakita Capital Partners and held key financial positions at Universal Domestic Television and Warner Bros, Domestic TV Distribution.
Andy Chapman, who joins PHM’s Board of Advisors, was most recently Managing Director at WPP’s media agency Mindshare NY, where he managed the national digital investment teams for Boehringer Ingelheim, CVS, Unilever and many other leading brands. He joins former Aegis Media North America CEO Sarah Fay, Vetere Group Founder/CEO Tim Hanlon and Grey Healthcare Group CEO Lynn O’Connor Vos as members of PHM’s advisory board.
