Brian Crosby, an experienced and successful investor entrepreneur who helped finance and build several high-performing sports and media brands, has joined the Advisory Board of SportsSignup (http://www.sportssignup.com/), a national leader in online services for sports organizations.
The announcement was made by SportsSignup CEO Anthony Bruno.
“Given SportsSignup’s expanding opportunities in the youth sports industry, Brian brings powerful expertise to our team at this exciting time of new growth,” Mr. Bruno said. “Over the past 20 years, Brian has a strong history of connecting emerging businesses with capital and/or partner opportunities that have led to some very successful ventures. We are fortunate to have Brian join our team.”
Mr. Crosby is a former partner of Falconhead Capital, a role in which he sourced, led and managed investments in consumer and media companies such as Competitor Group, an event and media leader in endurance sports; Maritime Telecommunications Network, a technology and specialty media provider; and ESPN Classic Europe, a leading sports cable channel.
