LikeBright, a Seattle matchmaking services company that is backed by Microsoft Ventures, has bought MatchMate. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Utah, MatchMate is a provider of matchmaking solutions.
SEATTLE and PROVO, Utah, Dec. 31, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — LikeBright, Inc., a leading provider of online and mobile dating and matchmaking software and services today announced that it has acquired substantially all of the assets of MatchMate, a Utah-based matchmaking software company.
MatchMate was founded in 2012 by several Utah entrepreneurs, including John Richards who also was involved in Seattle entrepreneurship in the 1990s in the yellow pages industry, including early involvement in InfoSpace. Richards will also invest in LikeBright’s current round and serve on its advisory board.
