Goodwin Procter hires former Wilson Sonsini partner for tech companies practice

Rezwan Pavri, former partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, has joined Goodwin Procter as a partner in the Technology Companies Practice in the firm’s Silicon Valley office. Pavri has experience working with tech companies and has represented major investment banks, venture capital and private equity firms. At Goodwin, Pavri will focus on corporate and securities law, including public offerings, M&A, venture capital financings and general corporate representation.

Goodwin Procter, a national Am Law 50 firm, announced today that Rezwan Pavri has joined the firm’s Technology Companies Practice as a partner in its Silicon Valley office. Pavri comes to Goodwin from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati where he was a partner in that firm’s Palo Alto office.

Pavri has guided leading technology companies on some of their most important transactions and represented major investment banks, venture capital and private equity firms across a range of matters. At Goodwin, Pavri’s practice will focus on the areas of corporate and securities law, including public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, and general corporate representation.

Pavri’s experience includes representing Twitter, Trulia, Qualys and Gigamon in their initial public offerings; Trulia, McAfee and Check Point in their mergers and acquisitions; and banks such as Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan and BofA Merrill Lynch on a variety of transactions.
