PRESS RELEASE

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) April 3, 2014 — AdsNative has built a reputation helping its customers sell native in-feed ads directly to their advertisers with a turn-key platform. Publishers are thereby able to make the highest CPMs by selling directly to advertisers. In addition to managing directly-sold campaigns, AdsNative enables its customers to add any number of native networks and exchanges, and automatically ensures maximum fill-rates and revenue for publishers.
AdsNative has also closed a new round of financing led by InterWest Partners, with participation from ONSET Ventures, Foundry Group Angel via AngelList, KBS+ Ventures and ad-tech angels Mike Kerns and Barry Honig and others.
“We’re also happy to announce new mediation functionality which was driven entirely by demand from our customers. With the growth of native ad networks and exchanges, publishers are looking for the best ways to manage backfill from native networks, in addition to their direct-sold campaigns, without spending efforts in ad-ops and engineering. Our customers talked, we listened and responded,” said Satish Polisetti, AdsNative CEO.
“We’re constantly approached by native ad networks to place their ads on our pages. In an effort to maximize revenue and fill, we turned to AdsNative to optimize fill and eCPM. Plus the ability to layer in a native marketplace and the ease of executing direct buys through the Adsnative platform gives us the best ability to maximize our potential revenue,” said Grant Brown, CRO at Rant Media Network.
Today, AdsNative is providing ad-servers, tools and infrastructure to its customers to manage millions of native ads every month. “We’ve always had a laser focus on making it ultimately simple for our customers to execute direct native buys. We provide tools for every stakeholder — developers, designers, ad-ops and sales,” stated Dhawal Mujumdar, Head of Product at AdsNative. “Our commitment is to expedite our customers’ time, from crafting a native strategy to execution through our turn-key platform. We’ve taken the same care for our new mediation capabilities.”
“The new funding is enabling us to execute our most critical priority — expanding our engineering and business teams,” said Max Gutman, CTO at AdsNative.  “We are really excited about the launch of our new platform capabilities. Our customers are going to be even more excited,” added Kuldeep Kapade, Head of Publisher Development at AdsNative.
AdsNative had previously raised money from ad-tech angels Mike Kerns, SVP at Yahoo, and former Google ad executives Keval Desai and Richard Chen. The latest round of financing was led by InterWest Partners with participation from ONSET Ventures, KBS+ Ventures, Foundry Group Angel via AngelList and ad-tech angels. “Brands and agencies have always had to adapt to how people consume and create media. The rise of social platforms and distributed publishing, combined with mobile, tablets and non-desktop experiences, have expanded the variety of ways in which people see and interact with content and advertising. This shift creates the opportunity for brands and agencies to mesh intelligent creative with intelligent technology to deliver ads that fit this wider range of new content and context, at scale. We’ve seen this shift directly at KBS+ through the agency’s work with many clients, and it helped form our opinion on the venture side about the types of solutions that will win in the long-term, AdsNative was a company that fit neatly into KBS+ Ventures’ thesis”, stated Taylor Davidson, Director with KBS+ Ventures.
