PRESS RELEASE

Monday 12 May: Social ads management platform Driftrock (https://www.driftrock.com/) has secured a $1m seed funding round led by Forward Partners.
The London-based company enables brands to deliver the right ad content to highly targeted customers at the right time. The investment, which is the first fundraise for the company, will be used to further develop its initial suite of easy to use marketing apps – currently including OpenBook and Lead Response – as well as the data platform that powers them.
Rather than big bulky software, each marketing app on the Driftrock platform is designed to solve a specific problem. This makes the toolset suitable for startups as well as enterprise customers, removing the barrier to entry for smaller companies looking to take advantage Facebook ads software.
OpenBook allows marketers to quickly understand which ads are working and why. Using advanced ads analysis techniques, marketers can gain actionable insights for campaign optimisation without the need for detailed stats analysis.
Lead Response harnesses the power of Twitter Lead Cards and enables marketers to create instant auto-response emails for Twitter leads. With no engineers or CRM setup needed, Lead Response can easily facilitate eBook giveaways, coupon campaigns, newsletter subscription or put people in touch with a sales team.
To deliver even better results for social media advertising, Driftrock is now working to integrate valuable third party data – such as the weather and CRM data – into the platform.
Other investors contributing to this round of funding include angels such as Nick Hynes, CEO of Somo; Founder of Forward Internet Group Neil Hutchinson; Huddle Co-Founder Andy McLoughlin and Jonathan McKay, Chairman at Just Giving and Exony.
Matt Wheeler, CEO and Founder at Driftrock said: “Since launching in November 2013, Driftrock has been helping companies of all sizes get more from their social media channels.
