Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson has hired Stewart Kagan as a partner in the financial practice. Kagan represents corporations, private equity firms, hedge funds and other financial institutions in debt financings and private equity deals. He focuses on leveraged finance, including bank financings, high-yield debt offerings and bankruptcy-related transactions.
Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Stewart A. Kagan has joined the Firm as a partner in the Finance Practice resident in the Firm’s New York office.

Mr. Kagan represents corporations, private equity firms, hedge funds and other financial institutions with respect to debt financings and private equity transactions. His practice focuses on leveraged finance, including bank financings, high-yield debt offerings and bankruptcy-related transactions.
Prior to joining Fried Frank, Mr. Kagan was a partner at a leading New York-based firm. He received a JD from Yale Law School in 1985 and a BA from Harvard College in 1980. Mr. Kagan is admitted to practice in the US District Court, Southern District of New York; New York; and Connecticut. He has been recognized by Chambers USA and Legal 500.
