Hudson Ferry Capital backs Soft-Tex International

Hudson Ferry Capital has backed Soft-Tex International. Based in Waterford, New York, Soft-Tex manufactures, imports, and distributes bedding products.

Hudson Ferry Capital is pleased to announce that it made an investment in Soft-Tex International, Inc. on May 16, 2014. Based in Waterford, New York, Soft-Tex manufactures, imports, and distributes numerous bedding products including bed pillows, bed toppers, mattress pads, mattresses, and pillow and mattress protectors under a number of proprietary and licensed brands. Soft-Tex was founded in 1986 by brothers Arthur and Harold Perry. In addition to its Waterford, New York headquarters, Soft-Tex has a distribution facility in Charlestown, South Carolina and a showroom in New York, New York.

Soft-Tex was advised by Avalon Securities, Ltd., and its legal counsel was Couch White, LLP. Hudson Ferry Capital was represented by DLA Piper. KeyBank provided financing as part of the transaction.
