Prosper Marketplace taps Capital One co-founder for board

Prosper Marketplace, the parent company of Prosper, a peer-to-peer online lender, has added Nigel W. Morris to its board of directors. Morris is the co-founder of Capital One and currently a managing partner at QED Investors.

Morris has joined the board of directors of its parent company, Prosper Marketplace. The announcement follows the largest month ever for the Prosper platform, with $124 million in loans originated in May.
