Medley hires CIFC executive Peter McLaughlin

Medley LLC has hired Peter McLaughlin as a managing director on the direct lending team. McLaughlin most recently worked as a managing director at CIFC and with Longroad Asset Management, where he was head of origination.

Medley LLC, a leading asset manager, announces that Peter McLaughlin has joined their team as Managing Director on the Direct Lending Team.

Mr. McLaughlin will play a key role in further developing the firm’s relationships with private equity firms and corporate borrowers. Mr. McLaughlin brings 23 years of experience to Medley having worked most recently as a Managing Director at CIFC and with Longroad Asset Management where he was Head of Origination. Prior to Longroad, Mr. McLaughlin worked with Gottex Middle Market Debt Fund, Contrarian Capital Management, Golden Tree Asset Management, Wells Fargo Foothill and JP Morgan.

Mr. McLaughlin brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise, having executed numerous financing transactions for middle market borrowers.
