About Me

Vicki Swisher is the Senior Director of Intellectual Property Development for Korn/Ferry International and is based in Minneapolis. She is author of Becoming an Agile Leader and has co-authored several Lominger publications.

Vicki has extensive experience in the areas of human resource development with a special emphasis on leadership development and talent management. She has written several articles and presented on the topics of Learning Agility and leadership development at premier HR talent development events. She is also well-versed in the disciplines of change leadership, performance management, team effectiveness, competency modeling, instructional design, and platform training facilitation/presentation. She has held internal consulting and leadership positions with top companies in the financial services and hospitality sectors.

Before joining Korn/Ferry, Vicki was employed with The Hartford in a leadership role with the organizational effectiveness group. During her tenure, she rolled out a comprehensive change management methodology and provided internal consulting to client partners in the areas of performance management and individual and leadership development.

Previously, Vicki spent 15 years in the hospitality sector with Marriott International and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. There, she held leadership positions in group sales and catering, worked in public relations and managed a sales training function.

As an adjunct faculty member in the Organizational Leadership program at St. Mary's University, Vicki teaches masters-level courses in Talent Management and Organization Development and Change.

Vicki earned a master’s degree in human resource development from the University of Minnesota where she was recipient of the College of Education’s Award of Recognition for Leadership. She received her bachelor of arts in English from the University of California, Irvine.
