Indochino Garners $13M Series B Financing

Vancouver-based Indochino Apparel Inc., an online menswear company, has raised a C$13 million Series B financing round. Highland Consumer Fund led the round, with participation from existing investors Madrona Venture Group, Acton Capital Partners and Jeff Mallett, Indochino’s chairman and the former president and COO of Yahoo. As part of the investment, Tom Stemberg of Highland will join the company’s board of directors.

DN Capital’s windeln.de Raises Growth Capital

German online shop for everyday baby products windeln.de has completed a new round of financing. The funding was raised from existing investors DN Capital and Acton Capital Partners with new investors MCI and 360 Capital Partners joining the investor group. DN capital and MCI co-led this round.

Prescription Eyewear Acquires LensOn

Prescription Eyewear, parent company of myOptique.com, SunglassesShop.com and GlassesDirect.com, has added LensOn, a Nordic online contact lens seller, to its portfolio. The acquisition was financed by Prescription Eyewear’s existing venture capital investors Acton Capital Partners, Highland Capital Partners and Index Ventures. Additional funding was received from GP BullHound Sidecar, Silicon Valley Bank and Kreos Capital.

Clio Awarded $6M B Round

Acton Capital Partners, the Munich-based growth equity investor, led a $6 million Series B round in Clio, the cloud-based management solutions provider for legal industry clients. Existing investors, including Point Nine Capital, participated in the funding as well.
