UK-based Albion Ventures has invested up to 2 million pounds ($3 million) in MyMeds&Me, a healthcare software as a service company. MyMeds&Me was established in 2011 by three senior pharmaceutical industry executives, Stephen Powell, Andrew Rut and Trevor Gibbs.
City Screen, a UK-based art-house cinema operator has been sold to Cineworld in a deal valuing the company at 47.3 million pounds ($75.9 million). Independent investment banking firm Livingstone’s consumer sector team advised the City Screen management team and private equity investors Arts Alliance and Albion Ventures on the sale.

Atego, a global software tools and professional services supplier has secured an additional, multi-million dollar equity investment. Existing investor ETV Capital led the funding with participation from Albion Ventures, new investor ESO and individual investors. Albion Ventures has sold The Place Sandwich VCT Limited, the owner and operator of the 37-bedroom Bell Hotel in the medieval Cinque Port town of Sandwich, UK to Shepherd Neame Limited, Britain’s oldest brewer, for 3.6 million pounds. Funds managed or advised by Albion Ventures backed the acquisition of the historic hotel in January 2005, when a total of 3.1 million pounds was been invested.
