BV Investment Partners, the former Boston Ventures, agreed to buy Butterfield Fulcrum and FORS Ltd. Financial terms of the deal, which is expected to close in first quarter, weren’t announced. Butterfield Fulcrum, a hedge fund administrator, and FORS, which provides accounting and reporting services, will be owned by one parent company based in Bermuda. However, they will operate separately. Glenn Henderson will serve as CEO while Tim Calveley will be COO. Both execs will also have stakes, a statement said.

Rave Cinemas LLC, a newly-formed acquisition platform backed by TowerBrook Capital Partners and Lambert Media Group, has agreed to buy the business operations and select real estate assets of up to 35 movie theaters from National Amusements Inc. No financial terms were disclosed. It also has acquired four theaters from Rave Reviews Cinemas, a portfolio company of Boston Ventures.

BVK Holdings, publisher of New Track Media, has acquired CK Media LLC, publisher of quilting, sewing, and scrapbooking magazines. No financial terms were disclosed. BVK is a portfolio company of Boston Ventures.

Petty Holdings, a portfolio company of Boston Ventures, has merged with Gillett Evernham Motorsports to form Richard Petty Motorsports. No financial terms were disclosed for the deal, which combines the Richard Petty #43 and #44 race team cars with with GEM’s team roster. The transaction does not include the Richard Petty Driving Experience, which Boston Ventures and Richard Petty will continue to own via a separate entity.
