Bessemer Venture Partners led a $21 million Series B round for Boulder, Colo.-based SendGrid, which makes a cloud-based platform for email deliverability. Existing investors Foundry Group, Highway 12 Ventures, SoftTechVC, 500 Startups and Bullet Time Ventures also participated. The money will help bolster the company’s staff and continue development efforts.

Mobile advertising company Tap.Me has closed on an undisclosed amount of venture financing led by Rockfish Brand Ventures, a Rogers, Arkansas-based investor. Rockfish joins existing shareholders including David Cohen’s Bullet Time Ventures, the i2A Fund and Hyde Park Angels. Tap.Me is based in Chicago.
