Batterii, a Cincinnati-based enterprise SaaS innovation software platform, has closed a $2.5 million seed-stage funding round. CincyTech led the round with $500,000. Other investors include Batterii CEO Kevin C. Cummins, Los Angeles-based investor Ken Salkin, and undisclosed individuals.

Web-based parent and child service and mobile app ChoreMonster has closed a $775,000 seed round and has come out of beta today with a public launch on iTunes. CincyTech led the seed round with $250,000 and angel investors followed up with an additional $450,000. ChoreMonster is based in Cincinnati.

CincyTech has led a seed round for Ilesfay Technology Group, investing $250,000. The round topped out at $615,000 and also included participation from individual investors including Douglas Groh, Steve Turnbull, the company said. Mason, Ohio-based AssureRx Health Inc. has sealed $8 million in debt financing from Silicon Valley Bank. The funds will be used to provide working capital and finance new product launches, the company said in a written released. The credit line follows an $11 million Series B round, which closed last year. The company is backed by investors including Claremont Creek Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Mayo Clinic, CincyTech and Allos Ventures.

CincyTech has invested $200,000 in Choremonster. The investment is part of a $350,000 seed-stage funding round led by CincyTech with participation by private angel investors. CincyTech has also committed an additional $300,000. Choremonster is a Web-based service and mobile app that lets parents and children interact to complete chores.

Define My Style, an online community that allows teenagers to design, share, advertise and purchase custom products, has closed a $690,000 seed-stage funding round. CincyTech led the round with a $250,000 investment. The Queen City Angels invested $100,000, Tech Coast Angels in Los Angeles invested $140,000, and the rest came from individual investors, the company announced Friday.

Bioformix, a Cincinnati, Ohio-based developer of sustainable adhesives and plastic alternatives, has raised $6 million of a proposed $8 million equity financing round, according to regulatory filings with the S.E.C. The company previously sealed about $1 million in VC funding from CincyTech and Queen City Angels.

CincyTech has put $350,000 into Cincinnati-based Ilesfay Technology Group, a maker of cloud-based data replication services for corporate product life-cycle management. The two-year-old company also announced that it had sealed a contract with Procter & Gamble. Ilesfay hopes to raise an additional $150,000 to close the round.
