CoBe Capital has hired Dr. Knuth Schmidt as a director of operations for DACH. CoBe Capital is a global private investment firm focused on the acquisition and management of non-core business units from large corporations.

CoBe Capital, a global private investment firm focused on operation of non-core and underperforming business units, has signed an agreement to acquire Slovenian businesses Gorenje Kuhinje and Gorenje Notranja oprema, collectively the furniture division of Gorenje, d.d. The transaction is expected to close on March 1, 2013.

CoBe Capital‘s operating company, Warendorfer Küchen, has agreed to acquire the assets of Kornmüller, a manufacturer of premium solid wood kitchen cabinetry. Warendorf will be transitioning Kornmüller’s dealer relationships across Southern Germany and Austria.

CoBe Capital has acquired Warendorfer Küchen, a manufacturer of premium kitchens from AFG Arbonia-Forster-Holding. This transaction represents CoBe Capital’s first investment in Germany and follows its most recent transaction, Bourrelier Éducation, in France in 2011.

CoBe Capital is to acquire Warendorfer Küchen, a manufacturer of premium kitchens from AFG Arbonia-Forster-Holding. The transaction is expected to close on December 31, 2012. AFG Arbonia-Forster-Holding AG is divesting Warendorfer Küchen as part of an on-going implementation of its strategy to focus on core businesses.
