FundersClub Raises Significant Seed Round

FundersClub, a marketplace for private investing, has closed a significant round of seed funding. Investors in the round included First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Draper Associates, Felicis Ventures, Spark Capital, Digital Garage, Intel Capital, Y Combinator-affiliated funds (Andreessen Horowitz, Start Fund, SV Angel, and General Catalyst Partners), Investmon Sarl, NetPrice, Global Venture Alliance and Plug and Play Tech Center.

TrackVia Raises $7.1M From Longworth, Fairhaven, Access, Flywheel, Others

TrackVia said it raised $7.1 million in a fundraising round led by Longworth Venture Partners and Fairhaven Capital, and joined by Access Venture Partners, Flywheel Ventures, Draper Associates and Allen & Company. The funds will go to expand sales, marketing and engineering operations at the applications development services company.

Twitch Raises $15M From Bessemer, Alsop Louie, Draper

Twitch said it raised $15 million in a Series B deal led by Bessemer Venture Partners and joined by Alsop Louie Partners and Draper Associates. The company, formerly named TwitchTV, will expand its engineering department.

Mogreet Inks $4.1M Venture Round

Mobile video marketing company Mogreet has raised $4.1 million in capital, bringing its total funding to $14.1 million. Lightbank Backs Cloudbot

Chicago-based Lightbank, the venture firm started by Groupon co-founders Eric Lefkofsky and Brad Keywell, is among those backing Cloudbot in a recent venture round. The startup develops a mobile and web app designed to aggregate a person’s online presence into a single interface. Draper Associates and Hyde Park Angels also contributed to the financing. The amount of funding was not disclosed.
