Leap2 has received $1.6 million from individual and institutional investors led by Dundee Venture Capital, with support from OpenAir Equity, Linseed Capital and Wichita Technology Corporation. Based in Kansas City, MO, Leap2 is a search platform provider.

Wide Open Spaces emerged from stealth mode and launched today. The venture-backed company, which raised $1.75 million in a previously unannounced seed round from Mercury Fund, RPM Ventures and Dundee Venture Capital last year, operates an online site called openseason to sell hunting and fishing items.

Boston-based Tripleseat Software, which develops event management and lead generation software for restaurants and hotels, has raised $500,000 from Omaha, Neb.-based Dundee Venture Capital. Tripleseat’s software-as-a-service application is designed to help venue owners and event planners streamline the booking and planning process.
