Dallas-based private equity firm Highlander Partners has acquired Polish transfer agent services provider, ProService Agent Transferowy. Enterprise Investors‘ portfolio company Skarbiec has sold the business.

EI to Finance Development of Radiotherapy Center in Poland

Enterprise Investors is to finance the development of a radiotherapy center in Silesia (southern Poland), in cooperation with a private company and a medical university. Polish Enterprise Fund VII will buy 100% of the Center for Cancer Diagnostics and Therapy (CDiTO) from Voxel, a Warsaw-listed operator of diagnostic medical centers and a manufacturer of radiopharmaceuticals.

AVG Technologies Inks $235M Loan

Czech security software maker AVG Technologies, which is backed by buyout shop Enterprise Investors, has inked a $235 million secured, five-year term loan from a syndicate arranged by J.P Morgan and Morgan Stanley. The company, which makes free anti-virus software, recently shelved plans for an initial public offering. The new financing will help with strategic growth opportunities, as well as provide a dividend to shareholders, AVG Technologies said in a statement.

Czech security software maker AVG Technologies, which is backed by buyout shop Enterprise Investors, has shelved plans for an IPO, Reuters reported. The company, which makes free anti-virus software, will instead attempt to raise as much as $300 million in a bond issue, Reuters reported.
