Glam Media Buys AdPortal

Glam Media, a female-focused online advertising network, has acquired AdPortal, a provider of advertising technology for publishers. No financial terms were disclosed. Glam Media has raised around $150 million in VC funding, from Aeris Capital, Burda Digital Holding, Mizuho Capital, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Accel Partners, DAG Ventures, Information Capital and WaldenVC.

Glam Media Raises $50 Million

Glam Media, a female-focused online advertising network, has raised $50 million in new VC funding. Aeris Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Burda Digital Holding and Mizuho Capital. PaidContent puts the post-money valuation at around $750 million.

Glam has now raised around $150 million, from firms that also include Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Accel Partners, DAG Ventures, Information Capital and WaldenVC.

Glam Media Adds Japanese Investors

Glam Media, a female-focused online advertising network, has raised around $10 million in new VC funding. Mizuho Venture Capital led the round, and was joined by Japanese ad agencies Dentsu and ADK, and Japanese publishers Shogagukan, Syueisya and NikkeiBP. The company has now raised approximately $100 million, including past investments from Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Accel Partners, DAG Ventures, Hubert Burda Media, Information Capital and WaldenVC.

Glam Buys AdaptiveAds

Glam Media, a female-focused online advertising network, has acquired AdaptiveAds, a provider of display ad targeting and optimization solutions. No financial terms were disclosed.

Glam has raised over $87 million in VC funding from firms like Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Accel Partners, DAG Ventures and Walden Venture Capital. AdaptiveAds has raised over $3 million in VC funding led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson.

Glam Buys Monetise

Glam Media, a female-focused online advertising network, has acquired Monetise Ltd., an online media sales company in the UK entertainment market. No financial terms were disclosed.
