Little Pim Corporation, a foreign language learning company that introduces young children to a second language via its core DVD and digitally downloadable multi-media series, has secured a $2 million Series C financing. Golden Seeds, including Golden Seeds Innovate NY Fund, led the investment round.

Golden Seeds, an investment firm focused on women entrepreneurs, has closed its second fund with $26.5 million in committed capital. Golden Seeds Fund 2 LP will invest across technology, life sciences and consumer goods. The fund already has eight portfolio companies, including AboutOne, maker of an online household management system; and Cognition Therapeutics, which is developing drugs for Alzheimer’s disease. Golden Seeds is based in New York.

Investment firm Golden Seeds has put an undisclosed amount into social media company Honestly Now, and ecommerce website Bespoke Global, both based in New York. Honestly Now is a social game designed to help people make personal decisions. Bespoke Global aggregates custom home furnishings.

The NaturallyCurly Network, a social network for people with wavy to curly hair, has raised $1.2 from company chair Jimmy Treybig, the founder of Tandem Computers, along with John Paul Mitchell Systems co-founder John Paul DeJoria, and the angel investor network Golden Seeds.
