OptiMine Software has raised $3.6 million in Series B financing led by Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. OptiMine, which develops keyword bid optimization software for large paid-search advertising programs, will use the funding to bolster product development and sales efforts. Omniture’s James Seals $33M For Domo (f.k.a. Shacho)

Omniture founder Josh James has wrapped up another $33 million in capital for his business intelligence company Domo (formerly known as Shacho). In May, James sealed $10 million in commitments from angel investors Marc Benioff and Ron Conway, and from Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and Andreesen Horowitz. The company will sell its technology a cloud-based software-as-a-service, Reuters reported. Domo is based in Salt Lake City.

Brand-name angel investors Marc Benioff and Ron Conway joined venture firms Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and Andreesen Horowitz in a $10 million round for Shacho Inc. Sacho, formed by Omniture founder Josh James, a working name for the business intelligence technology start-up, which has yet to launch. Other investors in the $10 million round include SuccessFactors founder and chief executive Lars Dalgaard; Akamai CEO Paul Sagan; Symantec Chairman John Thomspon; Facebook vice president Dan Rose; and marketing firm WPP.
