FarmLogs has closed a $1 million seed funding round co-led by Huron River Ventures and Hyde Park Venture Partners. Hyde Park Angels, Silicon Badia Ventures, and First-Step Fund participated in the investment along with angel investors. FarmLogs is a Michigan startup and Y Combinator alum that helps farmers digitally manage their farm to increase profitability.

Early stage venture investor Hyde Park Venture Partners has launched and announced its first investment, in InContext Solutions, a developer of web-based 3-D virtual store environments. Hyde Park Venture Partners co-led a $1.5 million round for the company, investing alongside Hyde Park Angels. Hyde Park Venture Partners focuses on early stage investments in the Midwest, specifically in Chicago-based companies.

YCharts, a maker of tools and services for stock research and analysis, has closed $3.25 million in a Series B round of financing. Morningstar Inc. led the financing with a $2.45 million investment. Existing investors Hyde Park Angels and I2A also participated.

Chicago-based Lightbank, the venture firm started by Groupon co-founders Eric Lefkofsky and Brad Keywell, is among those backing Cloudbot in a recent venture round. The startup develops a mobile and web app designed to aggregate a person’s online presence into a single interface. Draper Associates and Hyde Park Angels also contributed to the financing. The amount of funding was not disclosed.

Mobile advertising company Tap.Me has closed on an undisclosed amount of venture financing led by Rockfish Brand Ventures, a Rogers, Arkansas-based investor. Rockfish joins existing shareholders including David Cohen’s Bullet Time Ventures, the i2A Fund and Hyde Park Angels. Tap.Me is based in Chicago.
