Aereo Closes Series B Led by IAC and Highland Capital Partners

Aereo has closed on a $38 million Series B round of financing, led by existing investors IAC and Highland Capital Partners. Previous investors from Aereo’s Series A funding round, including FirstMark Capital, First Round Capital, High Line Venture Partners, and select individuals, also participated.

IAC’s Match.com Buys OkCupid for $50M

Match.com, the online dating site owned by Barry Diller’s IAC, has acquired New York-based dating company OkCupid for $50 million in cash. The deal also includes potential future payments contingent upon performance. Sam Yagan, the co-founder and chief executive of OkCupid will continue to run the business. OkCupid previously raised at least $6 million from angel investors.

International Automotive Components Plans To Go Public In 2011 – Reuters

Wilbur Ross plans to take International Automotive Components Group public this year and hired Bank of America Corp. and JPMorgan Chase & Co. to run the process, two people familiar with the matter told Reuters on Wednesday. IAC is a global supplier of automotive components and systems.
