ParkMe and Amano McGann Join Forces: CORRECTED

ParkMe, a leading provider of real-time parking information to navigation companies and consumers and Amano McGann, a provider of off-street parking automation in the US, have merged entered into a partnership. Angeleno Group, Fontinalis Partners and IDG Ventures are previous investors of ParkMe.

Expect Labs, which recently came out of stealth to announce a voice and video calling app for the iPad that understands conversations in real-time, has raised $2.4 million in funding from KPG Ventures, IDG Ventures, Google Ventures, Greylock Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners and Quest Venture Partners. Several individual investors, including Naval Ravikant, Gil Elbaz and Don Hutchison, also invested. The San Francisco-based company expects to release its app, called MindMeld, in late October.

IDG Ventures India, along with SAIF Partners, has invested $14 million (Rs 68 crore) into the e-commerce firm Brainbees Solutions, which runs the baby-care portal First Cry and the newer site GoodLife, which sells beauty and wellness products. Minted Inks $5.5M from Benchmark, IDG, Menlo

Online design community and e-commerce site Minted has raised $5.5 million from Benchmark Capital, IDG Ventures and Menlo Ventures. The Series B round will be used to expand the company’s product lines and for other growth efforts.
