Genticel, a biopharmaceutical company developing innovative vaccines for patients infected with human papillomavirus (HPV), has raised 18.2 million euros ($23.7 million) in additional capital. Prudent Energy Seals $29.5M

Energy storage company Prudent Energy has raised $29.5 million in new funding led by Mitsui. Vangoo Investment Partners, Idinvest Partners and Asia Clean Energy Limited also participated, as did existing investors Draper Fisher Jurvetson, DT Capital Partners, Northern Light Venture Capital and CEL Partners.

Paris-based online gaming start-up Pretty Simple has closed on $3.6 million from IDInvest Partners. The money will help Pretty Simple add to its team and boost production capacity. IDInvest Partners is a European investment firm with 2.8 billion euros in managed assets.

Kobojo Inks $7.5M in Initial VC Round

Paris-based social gaming start-up Kobojo has inked $7.5 million in its first round of fundraising. Endeavour Vision led the round, with participation from IDinvest Partners. With the new cash, the company aims to continue development in France and internationally. Kobojo was advised by Clipperton Finance.
