TagMan, maker of a tag management system, has sealed $5 million in a second round of venture capital, bringing the total raised to $10 million. Greycroft Partners and iNovia Capital led the Series B round. The company closed a $2.3 million Series A round in January.

Empire Avenue, the Canadian stock market simulation social network, has raised $1.2 million from investors including Crosslink Capital and iNovia Capital. Kevin Swan, Principal at iNovia Capital, and Eric Chin, Partner at Crosslink, worked on the transaction. Specifics were not publicized.

Panorama Capital has led a $6.5 million Series B investment in Fixo, a Toronto provider of infrastructure management services for mobile devices. Existing investors Rho Ventures Canada, iNovia Capital, Extreme Venture Partners and management also participated in the round. Panorama, of Menlo Park, Calif, is a VC firm.

Fixmo Inc., a provider of secure, end-to-end infrastructure management technology for mobile devices, has raised $6.5 million in Series B financing. Panorama Capital, a new investor in the company, led the round. Existing investors Rho Ventures Canada, iNovia Capital, Extreme Venture Partners also participated. Fixmo is based in Toronto.

Venture investors iNovia Capital, the Business Development Bank of Canada and BlackBerry Partners Fund have teamed up to launch a Vancouver-based accelerator program called GrowLab, the firms announced Thursday. Dubbed a “start-up boot camp” for entrepreneurs, participating companies can seal up to $25,000 in seed financing, four months of mentorship, free office space and the opportunity to pitch investors at the end of the program for follow-on funding.

Toronto-based search marketing startup Chango has raised $4.25 million in Series B financing. Rho Canada, a division of NY-based Rho Capital Partners, led the round, which included participation from iNovia Capital, Metamorphic Ventures, Extreme Venture Partners and 24/7 Media co-founder Geoff Judge. As a result of the funding, Rho Canada’s Roger Chabra will join the Chango board.

TagMan, the tag management system for enterprise e-commerce, has secured $2.25 million in a Series A round of fundraising that included Greycroft Partners and iNovia Capital, as well as additional angel investors. The company’s initial angel round reeled in $2.1 million from investors including Cambridge Angels and the London Business School E100. Seth Brody, from Greycroft, Shaun Gregory, of 02, and John Taysom, of Cambridge Angels, will be represented on the company’s board; Gregory will also become chairman.
