Gengo Closes Funding Round Led by Intel Capital

Gengo, a translation platform for global companies, has recently closed a $12 million round of funding led by Intel Capital, with participation from Atomico, Iris Capital, Infocomm Investments, NTT-IP Fund and STC Ventures. Details of the investment were not released.

Iris Capital and Capnamic Ventures have agreed to a partnership for making early stage investments in Germany. Iris Capital’s early-stage vehicle, OP Ventures Early Stage, will co-invest with the newly launched Capnamic Ventures Fund. The cooperation may also extend to later stage investments in Germany.

DelfMEMS said it raised $10.5 million in Series B funding from CDC Entreprises, Iris Capital, Capitalaria, VIVES as well as existing investors A2D Invest, Alliansys, Finorpa, Inovam, Rhône-Alpes-Création and various angels. The funding will be used to support the company’s growth in MEMS based switching products used as front end wireless modules for mobile devices like smart phones and tablets.

YouScribe, a Paris-based startup focused on digital document publishing and sharing, has raised €2 million from investors, including Iris Capital and individual investors Philippe Oddo and Bruno Emsens. Software company Kyriba, based in San Diego, California, has raised $10.6 million in funding. The round was led by Iris Capital, a pan-European late stage investor, with return investor BRED Banque Populaire. The money will be used to accelerate the growth of the company, according to Kyriba.
