PLUMgrid nabs $16.2 mln Series B

PLUMgrid has closed $16.2 million in Series B funding. Longworth Venture Partners led the round with participation from U.S. Venture Partners, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Qualcomm Ventures and Swisscom Ventures. Based in Sunnyvale, Calif., PLUMgrid is a provider of secure cloud networks for public and private clouds.

OwnerIQ scores $11 mln

OwnerIQ has closed $11 million in funding. The investors in this round were not named; however, the firm’s previous backers include Longworth Venture Partners and Kepha Partners. Headquartered in Boston, OwnerIQ is a provider of online advertising solutions and marketing channels for brands, retailers and manufacturers.

Triblio bags $3.4 mln seed funds

Content marketing software provider Triblio said Friday that it has received $3.4 million in seed funding. Longworth Venture Partners and Kepha Partners led the round. In conjunction with the financing, Eric Hjerpe of Kepha Partners and Jim Savage of Longworth Venture Partners have been added to Triblio’s board of directors.

SAP Ventures leads $20 mln Series C funding in Jibe

SAP Ventures has led a $20 million Series C funding round in Jibe, Inc., a recruitment technology company. SAP Ventures’ Doug Higgins will join Jibe’s board of directors. Existing investors Polaris Partners, DFJ, Gotham Ventures, Longworth Venture Partners and Thrive Capital also participated in the funding round. Jibe has raised a total of $37 million in funding to date.

NuoDB raises $14.2 mln

NuoDB, which provides a cloud-based database management system, has raised $14.2 million in new funding led by French-based 3D modelling software developer Dassault Systèmes. Also joining the round are existing investors Canvas Venture Fund (formerly known as Morgenthaler Ventures), Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and Longworth Venture Partners. The Cambridge, Mass.-based company has now raised $26.2 million in total funding.

PowerInbox and ActivePath Merge with Venture Funding

Email technology provider PowerInbox has merged with ActivePath, a provider of interactive email technology within the enterprise space. PowerInbox is based in Cambridge, Ma, and ActivePath is based in New York, with offices in Tel Aviv, Israel. The combined entity will have $10 million in funding from Atlas Venture, Longworth Venture Partners, Battery Ventures, Genesis Partners, GIMV NV and Correlation Ventures.

TrackVia Raises $7.1M From Longworth, Fairhaven, Access, Flywheel, Others

TrackVia said it raised $7.1 million in a fundraising round led by Longworth Venture Partners and Fairhaven Capital, and joined by Access Venture Partners, Flywheel Ventures, Draper Associates and Allen & Company. The funds will go to expand sales, marketing and engineering operations at the applications development services company.

Viewfinity Inks $8.5m Series C

QuestMark Leads $17M for uTest

Software testing company uTest has closed a $17 million Series D round led by QuestMark Partners, with participation from previous Scale Venture Partners, Longworth Venture Partners, Egan-Managed Capital and Mesco Ltd., the company announced Monday. uTest, based in Boston, has raised a total of $37 million since it was formed in 2007.

OwnerIQ Inks $7M Expansion Round

OwnerIQ, the Boston-based developer of a real-time media buying platform, has closed on $7 million in fresh capital from its existing shareholders and from Longworth Venture Partners, the company announced Monday. The company has previously raised capital from investors including Atlas Venture, CommonAngels, Massachusetts Technology Development Corp., and Egan-Managed Capital.

Symform Closes $4 million financing round

Symform has closed a $4 million financing round led by Longworth Venture Partners. OVP, Symform’s original venture investor, also participated. As part of the financing, Longworth’s Nilanjana Bhowmik will join Symform’s board. Symform, of Seattle, provides backup and disaster recovery services.

Longworth Venture Partners Secures $122 Million

Longworth Venture Partners has secured $122 million for its third fund, according to a regulatory filing. The Waltham, Mass.-based firm is targeting $180 million total, and began fundraising about a year ago.
