Mason, Ohio-based AssureRx Health Inc. has sealed $8 million in debt financing from Silicon Valley Bank. The funds will be used to provide working capital and finance new product launches, the company said in a written released. The credit line follows an $11 million Series B round, which closed last year. The company is backed by investors including Claremont Creek Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Mayo Clinic, CincyTech and Allos Ventures.

Menlo Park, Calif.-based Nevro Corp., a neuromodulation company focused on relief of chronic pain, has sealed a whopping $58 million round led by new investor Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation. Existing shareholders Aberdare Ventures, Accuitive Medical Ventures, Bay City Capital, Mayo Clinic, MPM Capital and Three Arch Partners also participated. The money will go toward a clinical study in the US and to support the company’s commercialization strategy.

China’s Wuhan Kindstar Diagnostics Co. has raised $11 million in Series B financing led by WI Harper Group, Baird Capital Partners Asia, Morningside Ventures and Mayo Clinic. Formed in 2003, Wuhan Kindstar provides laboratory testing services to over 2,000 Chinese hospitals. The company previously raised an undisclosed amount in Series A financing in 2008 from Morningside Ventures.
