Assured Labor Raises $5.5M From Capital Indigo, Great Oaks, Nexus, Others

Assured Labor said it raised $5.5 million in a round led by Capital Indigo and joined by existing investors Great Oaks Venture Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, Kima Ventures, Enzyme Venture Capital, Fabrice Grinda and Jose Marin. The mobile recruitment company said the money will allow it to expand engineering and sales staff to handle emerging markets demand.

Kaltura, an open source video platform, has secured $25 million of funding from new investors Mitsui & Co. Global Investment, Inc. and ORIX Ventures. Existing investors Nexus Venture Partners, Intel Capital, .406 Ventures and Avalon Ventures also participated.

ScaleArc has closed on $5.33 million in Series B equity financing. Backed by Trinity Ventures and Nexus Venture Partners, ScaleArc is developing database infrastructure software designed to simplify and lower costs for managing database environments. The company is based in Menlo Park, Calif. Trinity Ventures led the funding round.
