Cruise Planners Executive Team Purchases Company

Cruise Planners – American Express Travel executive team has acquired the company from Palm Beach Capital, a private equity investment firm that had been the majority owner of Cruise Planners since 2005. The business is a home-based travel agent franchise network in the cruise industry. The transaction price for the deal was not disclosed.

Palm Beach Capital Exits NASS

Palm Beach Capital has exited its investment in North American Substation Services, selling its equity interest to BBH Capital Partners III, a private equity fund managed by Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based North American Substation Services is an independent repair, maintenance and installation provider for electric utility substations.

ACS Buys TMS Health from Palm Beach Capital

Affiliated Computer Services has bought TMS Health from Palm Beach Capital. TMS Health is a Boca Raton, Fla.-based healthcare teleservices company. Dallas-based ACS, which provides business processing and information technology services, is a unit of Xerox. Palm Beach Capital is a PE firm.
