Parthenon, Others Complete Buy of H.D. Vest

Parthenon Capital Partners, Lovell Minnick Partners and Fisher Lynch have completed the acquisition of H.D. Vest Financial Services from Wells Fargo. Terms of the deal were not released. Irving, Texas-based H.D. Vest is a broker/dealer providing investment and financial advisory services to retail investors through tax professionals.

Parthenon Capital Backs Eliza Corp.

Eliza Corp., a provider of integrated healthcare communication strategies, analytics and business intelligence, has inked an undisclosed amount of financing from private equity firm Parthenon Capital Partners. The round is the first institutional financing for Eliza, and will be used to provide liquidity to some shareholders as well as provide growth capital. Following the transaction, Eliza’s founders and senior management team will continue to own a majority of the company. Parthenon has offices in Boston and San Francisco.

EQT Buys Restaurant Tech from Parthenon, ABS

Private equity firm EQT will buy Restaurant Technologies Inc. from Parthenon Capital Partners and ABS Capital Partners. Financial terms of the deal were not released. RTI is a provider of cooking oil management services to the foodservice industry. The investment comes out of EQT Infrastructure, a 1.2 billion euro fund launched 2008 by EQT.

Parthenon Recaps Social Service Coordinators

Buyout shop Parthenon Capital Partners said that it has recapped Social Service Coordinators Inc., and combined the company with existing portfolio company The Coding Source. Financial terms of the deal were not released. Social Service Coordinators provides revenue cycle management services for health plans. The Coding Source provides risk adjustment services to Medicare Advantage and Managed Medicaid plans. Parthenon has offices in Boston and San Francisco.

Parthenon Invests $15 Million in Seaside National Bank

Parthenon Capital Partners completed a $15 million investment in Seaside National Bank & Trust, a nationally-chartered commercial bank headquartered in Orlando, Florida. The investment will be made through the bank’s holding company, Three Shores Bancorporation, with funds from Parthenon Investors III, L.P. The investment made by Parthenon Capital Partners was complemented by investments from Lovell Minnick Partners, Continental Investors and a group of existing shareholders for a total of over $40 million.
