Lulu, a girls-only mobile app for private reviews and recommendations of guys, is launching across the US. the app has secured funding from from Alexios Vratskides, Passion Capital and PROfounders Capital as well as a group of angels, including Yuri Milner, Hosain Rahman, Alexander Asseily, Bill Tai, Vivi Nevo, and Dave Morin.

Echoecho said it closed $750,000 in seed funding from Google Ventures and UK-based venture firm PROfounders Capital. PROfounders Capital has held a first close on its inaugural VC fund. No financial information was disclosed. The London-based firm also announced that it has added Sean Seton-Rogers, formerly an associate with Balderton Capital, as a general partner. Other existing team members include Bebo founder Michael Birch, Lastminute.com founder Brent Hoberman, LongAcre Partners founder Jonathan Goodwin and Oakley Capital founder Peter Dubens.
