Osman Khan has joined Alvarez & Marsal as an MD in the Transaction Advisory Group. He will be based in New York. Khan was previously with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Transaction Services practice.

Gretchen Guandolo has joined Clearsight Advisors as a partner and MD. She will focus on IT services, software, public sector technology and SaaS businesses. Most recently, she was a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Public Sector Financial Services Group, where she led the firm’s Federal Transactions group.

Lisa Pavelka McAlister has joined PwC US as an MD in the firm’s U.S. Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services group. She will CORRECTION:manage assist in driving PwC’s IPO and capital raising services to PE and alternative investment companies. McAlister’s previously was SVP, COO and CFO of global private equity at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

PwC US said that it has named Dwight Grant managing director in its transaction services practice. Grant will be based in San Francisco, and will advising corporate clients on financial instruments, as well as oversee professional standards and technical training for the practice, the firm said in a written release. Grant most recently served as the global practice leader of financial engineering at Duff and Phelps.

Martyn Curragh has been appointed leader of PwC LLP’s U.S. Transaction Services practice. Curragh, who was been at PwC for 20 years, takes over from John McCaffrey.
