Guavus, a provider of big data analytics solutions, has acquired Neuralitic Systems, a mobile data monetization and marketing analytics experts serving the telecommunications industry. Guavus is backed by Investor Growth Capital, QuestMark Partners and previous investors Artiman Ventures, Sofinnova Ventures and Intel Capital.

Xirrus, a Wi-Fi device maker based in Thousand Oaks, Calif, has closed a $23.5 million Series E financing round. The funding was led by existing investors August Capital, Canaan Partners, InterWest Partners, QuestMark Partners, and US Venture Partners.

Genetic analysis company IntegenX has raised $15.6 million in venture capital, and acquired biotech company GenVault Corp. Life science investor Domain Associates led the round, which included participation from previous investors In-Q-Tel and RONAholdings LLC. GenVault’s existing investors QuestMark Partners, Cross Creek Partners, and Greenspring Associates now join the syndicate backing IntegenX. Pleasanton, Calif.-based IntegenX designs, manufactures and markets automated DNA and RNA based sample preparation.

Thrift Recycling Management, a Lakewood, Wash.-based seller of used books and consumer goods on the Internet, has received $8.5 million in growth equity financing. QuestMark Partners led the round. News of the investment was disclosed by Cascadia Capital, a Seattle investment bank, which advised Thrift Recycling.

Overture Networks Inc., a Morrisville, N.C.-based maker of high-speed networking equipment, has raised $17.2 million in new VC funding.
QuestMark Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Intel Capital, Intersouth Partners, Morgenthaler Ventures, Tenaya Capital, TDF Fund and Gray Ventures. The company previously raised around $45 million.
