Canadian start-up Crowdbase has secured $650,000 in seed financing from Real Ventures, iNovia Capital, and Martin-Luc Archambault (Bolidea) to accelerate product development and expand its team. Crowdbase allows teams to share questions, answers, notes, and Web links in a private social network.

Unbounce said it raised $850,000 from a syndicate led by Real Ventures of Montreal. The group includes Founder Co-Op of Seattle, Atlas Ventures of Boston, Social Leverage, 500Startups and Point Nine Capital. Montreal-based MConcierge Systems Inc., a maker of mobile-to-web software for the hospitality industry, has inked an undisclosed amount of financing from Real Ventures, Montreal Start Up, Palos Capital and Positron Inc. The money will help it expand software for hotels, which is a task management, content management and ordering system designed to integrate into existing IT infrastructures, PMS and other third party software. Real Ventures is a seed venture fund based in Montreal.

MODASUITE, the Canadian online menswear retailer, has secured unspecified seed funding from Real Ventures, Anges Quebec investors and Bolidea. The Montreal-based company will use the capital for its development initiative.
