Concurrent, Inc. said it raised $4 million of Series A funding in a deal led by True Ventures and Rembrandt Venture Partners. The San Francisco company previously raised a $900,000 seed investment in August 2011. The new money will go to product development and for new hires. Concurrent also named Gary Nakamura as CEO.

Zenprise Inc. has raised $30 million in new financing led by Greylock Partners. The round, which included participation from existing shareholders Rembrandt Venture Partners, Ignition Partners, Bay Partners, Mayfield and Shasta Ventures, will be used for growth. Zenprise, a maker of mobile device management software, aims to bolders its product development, sales and marketing efforts. Zenprise also announced that Asheem Chandna of Greylock has been named to the board.

Michael Baum has joined early stage firm Rembrandt Venture Partners as a venture partner. Prior to joining Rembrandt he was founder and chief executive of Splunk, a “big data” software company. Michael has also co-founded Collation, which was acquired by IBM; dotBank, which was bought by Yahoo!; and Reality, which was acquired by Reuters. Earlier in his career, Baum was VP e-Commerce Services at Yahoo! and VP e-Commerce at InfoSeek/Disney.
Allegiance Inc. has raised $12 million in Series B financing. New investor El Dorado Ventures led the round, which included funding from Rembrandt Venture Partners and Allegis Capital. The company, based in Salt Lake City, makes cloud-based technology to help companies better analyze and apply customer and employee feedback.
Foundation Capital, Emergence Capital Partners, Rembrandt Venture Partners and Greenhouse Capital Partners have funded a third round for InsideView to the tune of $12 million. Foundation led the Series C found, which is designed to help InsideView expand distribution of its sales intelligence platform. As a result of the round, Foundation General Partner Paul Holland joins the company’s board.
