VC-backed SHIFT hires MD for UK and Europe

SHIFT has named Kate Burns as managing director of its UK and European operations. Burns is the former CEO of AOL Europe. Headquartered in Los Angeles, SHIFT is a provider of marketing solutions for social advertisers. It is backed by Lerer Ventures, Thrive Capital, Founder Collective, Rincon Venture Partners, Baroda Ventures, Crosscut Venture Partners and DN Capital.

RingRevenue Secures Growth Capital

RingRevenue Calls Up $4 Million Financing

Marketing company RingRevenue has rased $4 million in venture capital financing, bringing its total financing to $7.5 million. Los Angeles-based GRP Partners and Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Rincon Venture Partners led the latest round, which will be used to bolster its customer development and support teams. Santa Barbara, Calif.-based RingRevenue develops call performance marketing technology, as well as tracking and analytics technology for advertising campaigns.
