Kickstart Seed Fund has closed on a $26 million second fund focused on early stage technology investments in Utah. That is more than twice the amount that Managing Director Gavin Christensen raised for his first fund in 2008. He has added Clarke Miyasaki as a GP and Alex Soffe as CFO to help manage the fund.

Goode Partners has acquired a minority equity stake in Skullcandy, a Park City, Utah-based maker of stereo headphones and earbuds targeting action sports and core audio consumers. No financial terms were disclosed.
