Cloud-based enterprise performance management provider Host Analytics has closed $17 million in Series D venture financing. The round was fully financed by the company’s existing investors Advanced Technology Ventures, Trident Capital, StarVest Partners and Next World Capital.

Veracode Acquires Marvin Mobile Security

strong>Veracode, a cloud-based application security testing company, has acquired the assets of Marvin Mobile Security, a developer of a mobile application analysis service for enterprises, app stores and mobile carriers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Veracode is backed by Meritech Capital Partners, Atlas Venture, .406 Ventures and StarVest Partners.

NewComLink Names Terence Spielman CTO

Xignite Inc., a provider of a financial market data platform for the cloud, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. The San Mateo, Calif.-based company is backed by StarVest Partners, Altos Ventures, Startup Ventures and individual investors. The money will be used to bolster sales and marketing, and for product development.
