Cloud-based enterprise performance management provider Host Analytics has closed $17 million in Series D venture financing. The round was fully financed by the company’s existing investors Advanced Technology Ventures, Trident Capital, StarVest Partners and Next World Capital.
strong>Veracode, a cloud-based application security testing company, has acquired the assets of Marvin Mobile Security, a developer of a mobile application analysis service for enterprises, app stores and mobile carriers. Xignite Inc., a provider of a financial market data platform for the cloud, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. The San Mateo, Calif.-based company is backed by StarVest Partners, Altos Ventures, Startup Ventures and individual investors. The money will be used to bolster sales and marketing, and for product development.
