Wellspring Capital Management has made back half of its investment in API Heat Transfer in roughly a year, a source tells peHUB.

Apparel maker Kellwood Co., which is owned by Sun Capital Partners, is looking to exit Zobha after owning the brand for less than two years, two sources told peHUB.

Sun Capital Partners said Monday it completed its buy of BTX Group from EQT. Financial terms weren’t announced. Brande, Denmark -based BTX is a Scandinavian wholesaler of branded apparel that targets the mature female demographic.

Sun Capital Partners has exited its investment in Sunrise Growers-Frozsun Foods. The company is a supplier of frozen strawberry products as well as a distributor and marketer of fresh strawberries. Terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

Sun Capital Partners held a first close in December for its sixth fund and has raised $1 billion. The Boca Raton, Fla.-based PE firm has a $3 billion target for fund VI.

Vince, a contemporary sportswear brand owned by private equity firm Sun Capital Partners, is exploring an initial public offering later this year, writes Reuters. The company is working with banks including Goldman Sachs Group Inc and UBS AG, according to Reuters.

Shopko, which is backed by Sun Capital Partners, said Friday it has promoted Jill Soltau to the position of President and Chief Merchandising Officer. She was previously Shopko’s EVP and chief merchandising officer. Green Bay, Wis.-based Shopko is a retailer that operates almost 350 stores in 22 states.

Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co. said Wednesday that it has acquired Royal Robbins. The seller was Kellwood Company, a Sun Capital Partners portfolio company. Financial terms were not announced. Modesto, Calif.-based Royal Robbins designs, makes and markets outdoor and retail apparel.

Sun Capital Partners‘ portfolio company Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions has completed the acquisition of Western States Glass Corporation of Northern California, a glass fabricator and distributor. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Sun Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of Polycom‘s Enterprise Wireless Communications business. The acquired business operates under the SpectraLink and KIRK telecom brands.
