Interlink Electronics has added Angela Blatteis and Dr. Frank Levinson to its board of directors. Blatteis is currently an ambassador to The Gores Group where she remains a key consultant while Levinson is a venture partner with Phoenix Venture Partners. Headquartered in Camarillo, Calif., Interlink Electronics is a provider of sensor and human-machine interface technologies.

Tweddle Group has received an undisclosed amount of funding from LA investment firm The Gores Group. Headquartered in Clinton Township, Michigan, Tweddle is a provider of information and publishing solutions for automotive OEMs and their suppliers.

The Gores Group has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Harris Broadcast Communications from Harris Corporation for $225 million. Headquartered in Denver, CO, Harris Broadcast Communications is a supplier of hardware and software that creates, manages, transmits, distributes and monetizes video content.

Gores Group Acquires DMN

The Gores Group Small Capitalization Partners fund in partnership with David Matton has completed the acquisition of DMN Ltd. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. DMN provides communications network infrastructure, engineering services and support to communication providers and contractors in the UK and internationally.

Gores Group to Purchase Therakos

The Gores Group, a global investment firm focused on acquiring controlling interests in mature and growing businesses, is to acquire Therakos from Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

PE Firms Close in on Nokia Siemens Networks

Nokia and Siemens are allowing two private equity consortia to look at the books of join venture Nokia Siemens Networks, in attempts to sell the company, Reuters reported. The consortia are The Gores Group with Platinum Equity, and TPG Capital with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. Nokia Siemens Networks has struggled to make a profit since its 2007 start, Reuters wrote.
