SnapLogic Appoints Spencer Punter as CFO

SnapLogic has appointed Spencer Punter as chief financial officer. The appointment builds on SnapLogic’s $20 million funding in late 2012, from Ignition Partners, Triangle Peak Partners and existing investors Andreessen Horowitz.

Vidyo Raises $17.1M From Triangle Peak, Others

Vidyo, Inc. said it raised $17.1 million in a deal led by Triangle Peak Partners. The company said other new investors were involved, but didn’t supply details. Vidyo has now raised $116 million since its founding in 2005.

TakeLessons Secures Financing

TakeLessons, an online service marketplace for music lessons in the US, has secured a $4 million round of venture capital financing, bringing the total investment into the company to more than $12 million. Triangle Peak Partners led the round with participation from Siemer Ventures and existing investors Crosslink Capital and SoftTech VC.

Framehawk Adds $11M Series B

Framehawk Inc. has raised $11 million in Series B financing from Matrix Partners and undisclosed existing investors, the company announced Tuesday. The “stealth-mode” company says it is focused on enterprise mobility software. Framehawk previously raised $5.5 million from Alsop Louie Partners, Correlation Ventures and Triangle Peak Partners.

DriveCam, a global driver risk management company, has appointed Drew Martin as chief information officer effective October 3, 2011. DriveCam was recently recognized as #30 in The Wall Street Journal’s listing of Top 50 Venture-Backed Companies. The San Diego-based company has previously secured backing from Leader Ventures, Triangle Peak Partners, Menlo Ventures, JMI Equity, Insight Venture Partners and Integral Capital Partners.

Triangle Peak, Hearst Lead Round for Yieldex

Yieldex, a provider of inventory and revenue management software for digital publishers, has closed on $10 million in a third round co-led by Triangle Peak Partners and Hearst Interactive Media. Sequel Venture Partners, Madrona Venture Group, and FFP Holdings also participated in the round, as did previous investor Amazon.com. The company makes software designed to provide inventory analysis, forecasting and pricing for digital media. The company previously raised $12 million in two earlier rounds.

Yieldex, a provider of inventory and revenue management solutions for digital publishers, has raised $10 million in its third round of venture capital funding. Triangle Peak Partners and Hearst Interactive Media led the round. Existing Yieldex investors Sequel Venture Partners, Madrona Venture Group, and FFP Holdings also participated in the round, as did previous investor Amazon.com, Inc. Yieldex raised $12 million in its Series A and B Rounds.

Ping Identity Calls Up $21M in New VC

Cloud identity security company Ping Identity has closed on $21 million in fresh capital, the company announced Tuesday. Triangle Peak Partners, Silicon Valley Bank, and existing investors Appian Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, General Catalyst Partners, SAP Ventures and Volition Capital provided the round. The infusion will be used to accelerate development and to bolster sales efforts. Ping Identity is based in Denver.
